Breeding thought

My breeding is still in its infancy and on my blog you can find out the exact process of what we are doing.

I only breed as a hobby, none of my animals is abused as a birthing machine. A bitch will have at most 2-3 litters in her life, possibly less, because there will only be a litter if there are enough new masters and mistresses.

My goal is to keep the Koolie in its kind. I attach great importance to the health and nature of the parent animals.

My bitch has a DNA profile with a DNA health examination, all known diseases are excluded on the basis of her DNA. The DNA profile can also be used retrospectively to determine if an unknown disease occurs, whether it was inherited, and 100% of the parents can be identified.

The matings are planned for a long time and the male is carefully examined! Since there are unfortunately hardly any dogs in Europe, it is also possible that the male is from Australia. That means it is then an artificial insemination.

The puppies will grow up in the house and will not be given away in kennels. As soon as you become more active you can move into your playroom and, depending on the weather, make the garden unsafe from the 4th week. According to age, they are socialized to people, animals and driving a car. The vacuum cleaner, health control (examine eyes, ears, mouth, paw), brooms, bags burst and many other everyday noises are made familiar to them.

The puppies will be looked after by a veterinarian throughout this time, dewormed every 2 weeks and at the 6th week a titer test will be made and vaccinated according to these guidelines.

The titer test will tell us when the pups lose protection from the mother and when to vaccinate. Because as long as a puppy has the protection of its mother, there is no vaccination, and thus you harm the puppy more than you do it good. This vaccination can then also be registered for 3 years and there is therefore no need to re-vaccinate in the 12th and 16th week or at 1 year.

Each puppy also gets a microchip and is registered with the Koolie Club Australia. Every puppy gets a starter set with him in his new home, with leash, collar / harness, blanket with the scent of the parents and food and feeding plan for the first time.

Dog breeding means great responsibility, which we are very aware of and we do everything to give our protégés the best start in their lives.

If you would like to find out more about us and get to know us and the dog personally, we look forward to hearing from you.

If you want a puppy it is advisable to contact us as early as possible, as we will only have the litters on demand and not simply produce a litter of puppies without knowing where the little ones will end up.

The advantage is that you can be there right from the start, experience all the information first hand and even have a say in choosing a name.

We are there for our night breeding for a lifetime. We will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have and if you are in an emergency, we will of course take our dogs back.
